Weirdly warm weather

by Del Geraghty, Staff Writer

One wouldn’t expect to see thriving dandelions at the start of November, but across campus, that’s just what was seen.

According to Weather.com, the first week of November in Glen Rock ranges from having a temperate low of 68 degrees to a balmy high of 78 degrees. An uninteresting statistic for September, but oddly warm for November.

While a nice surprise for citizens, all signs point to this being another symptom of global warming, with the high temperatures breaking records across the state. Even though the weather is more normal for November (at the time of this writing, at least), the unexpected heat is something we should expect more of, at least until global warming is under control.
