The Glen Rock High School French Club hosted its Second Annual Wine and Cheese Night on Nov. 11, with new advisor Dr. Susan Alswang.
The night was filled with different types of cheese, grape juice, and French desserts.
The night started as a calm social gathering, watching “One Man and His Cow.” It quickly became full of excitement with dancing and karaoke.
Club presidents Yuval Saar and Harleen Saberwal created Wine and Cheese night last year and hosted the first event in the courtyard. Last year, students created Vincent van Gogh style paintings as a way to relax at the end of the school year.
New and old club members came together for a night of fun. The food platters were wiped clean from students going up for extra snacks during the movie.
“I thought it was great because it’s an opportunity for us all to get together,” Dr. Alswang, first-year Glen Rock teacher and club advisor stated.
