The girls varsity soccer team won 7-2 against Eastern Christian on the lower field on Monday, Oct. 23.

The girls went into the game confident enough to win, due to their 6-0 win against Eastern Christian on Sept. 25.

Shortly into the first half, there was a handball called on Eastern Christian in the box.  This ended in a penalty kick taken by senior Olivia Traphagen who scored in the lower left corner, leading Glen Rock 1-0 with 33:51 left in the first half.  A little less than a minute later, junior Tess Rooney crossed the ball from right field, deflecting off of senior Jean Walter, and ending up in a goal by freshman Alyson Novick.

Glen Rock kept the winning streak going the entire game, but #4 on Eastern Christian scored two goals with 4:05 left in the first half, leaving the score 3-2 Glen Rock.
