Math department welcomes new teacher

A new teacher has joined the math department this year to teach math and computer science classes.
Min Joo Park has eight years of teaching experience. This year she is teaching ninth and tenth grades.
Park has an extensive college background. She attended NYU for her undergraduate degree and received a bachelor’s degree of in Science and Math Education and had a minor in computer application. She then attended Rutgers to receive a Special Education Teaching Certificate. Park most recently received an M.A. in Math Education from Columbia University.
Park teaches Algebra 1, Geometry, and Computer Science for a total of five math courses and one computer science course.
After graduating from college, Park taught in the Bronx. After two years, she began to teach in Westwood and stayed there for five years. After working at a school in Connecticut for a year, she’s returned to New Jersey.
“So far the experience has been pretty great,” she said.

I was able to know about her background through this article. It would have been great if you included how she feels to teach in Glen Rock.
