On January 5th Hollywood’s biggest names stunned the Red Carpet at the Beverly Hilton in attendance at the Golden Globes, “Hollywood’s Party of the Year.” It celebrates the best of film and television, recognizing actors, directors, and other artists in the industry. Nicki Glasser kicked off the award show this year with a hilarious monologue setting the mood for the rest of the eventful night. We saw some gorgeous gowns grace the red carpet that night, and we are going to rank our top 5 favorites.
30 year old actress, Dakota Fanning, wore a custom-made gown by Dolce&Gabbana. She graced the carpet in this sheer red couture gown. For the 82nd Golden Globes, Fanning was nominated for best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a television series for her performance in “Ripley.”
Abbey’s Opinion: The dress was stunning with a draped bodice and a dramatic attached scarf. The color was beautiful and I loved the added detail of the scarf. She accessorized with jewelry from Neil Lane.
Sia’s Opinion: The striking red color was the perfect choice for Fanning, exuding confidence. My favorite detail was the see-through sash of fabric, wrapping around her neck and falling over one shoulder. She looked absolutely radiant and I loved her matching red lip. Her simple Neil Lane jewelry added to the outfit while letting the dress shine.
Zendaya
Nominated for best performance by a female actor in a musical or comedy for her performance in “Challengers”, actress Zendaya looks absolutely stunning in her custom strapless, orange Louis Vuitton dress. She also wore a ring on the ring finger of her left hand, which led viewers to believe that Tom Holland asked the question. This theory was then confirmed by Dominic Holland, Tom Holland’s dad.
Sia’s opinion: The stunning, vibrant orange perfectly complements her skin, exuding confidence and elegance. This is a new look compared to those she wore during the “Challengers” press tour (which were also stunning). But the massive east-west oval-shaped ring subtly hinted at her engagement to “Spiderman” co-star Tom Holland as she casually showed off her gorgeous ring.
Abbey’s opinion: The strapless neckline highlighted the diamond and emerald Bulgari necklace she wore with it. The orange color was beautiful and striking on the red carpet.
34 year old actress, Monica Barbaro, wore a custom-made strapless bustier dress from Dior. She plays Joan Baez in “A Complete Unkown”. She finished her look with Bvlgari jewelry, including a diamond statement necklace with a yellow carré diamond.
Abbey’s Opinion: The detailing on the dress was stunning and in total, took 1,100 hours to create. The dress was timeless and was covered in beautiful beading
Sia’s Opinion: The hours it took to make is evident in the detail of the beading on this lovely dress. Barbaro told Vogue, “ I love timeless staples with more simple, subtle nods to what’s currently in fashion,” and I think she did exactly that!

Margaret Qualley
Margaret Qualley arrived on the red carpet in an ethereal, white Chanel gown. For her hit movie, The Substance, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. This dress truly captures the timeless, elegant Chanel beauty. The tiny details on the dress, like the sparkling black bow and embroidered chest, tied the whole look together. But my favorite part of her outfit was her gorgeous accessories: the diamond earrings and a diamond headband that complemented her outfit perfectly. This Audrey Hepburn-inspired look was simply beautiful.
Kate Hudson
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star stuns the red carpet in her midnight blue Carolina Herrera ball gown with embroidered roses throughout the whole dress. She was not nominated for any awards tonight but she did present the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Comedy. Her Bulgari sapphire necklace elevated the elegance of her midnight blue gown with a touch of modern glam. Also, her hair looked fantastic in the classic updo with curtain bang. It allowed the necklace to shine while still looking glamorous.

Demi Moore
62-year-old actress, Demi Moore, wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé strapless metallic gown embellished with Swarovski crystals. As well as Cartier jewelry including white gold and diamond earrings, bracelet, and ring. Her elegant gold dress was a perfect choice for the 2025 Golden Globes. Moore won her first acting award that night, winning Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Musical or comedy.
Rachel Brosnahan
34 year old actress, Rachel Brosnahan, wore a Vivienne Westwood dress and a pair of metallic Jimmy Choo pumps to the 2025 Golden Globes. Her asymmetrical green dress complimented her David Yurman High Jewelry necklace featuring a peridot gemstone. The deep green was striking and looked beautiful with her red hair.
Do you agree with our top 5’s?
Regardless of the lists, the red carpet at this glamorous event was truly one to remember. We had a surprising amount of overlap with Zendaya, Monica Barbaro, and Dakota Fanning’s dresses. However, we do have differences in our lists, with unique picks like Rachel Brosnahan on Abbey’s list and Margaret Qualley on Sia’s list. Were any of your favorite looks from the night missing from these lists?
