Love (and heartbreak) was in the air in Hollywood this month. Romances both burned and fizzled out, leaving a slew of headlines in their wake. Ranging from engagements to messy breakups- here’s a rundown of what you may have missed this month!

Millie Bobby Brown: 19 and Engaged

After almost two years of dating, actress Millie Bobby Brown announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi. Despite the fact that the pair seem infatuated with each other, their young age (19 and 20, respectively) leaves some fans concerned. It does seem a little rushed. Brown and Bongiovi are both at an age where they’re still finding themselves. There’s no harm in having a long engagement- but getting married before you can legally order an alcoholic drink? That’s a no from me. However, some pose an alternate perspective: why wait if you’ve met “the One”?

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn: Have they gone their separate ways?

Sources such as Entertainment Tonight and Page Six have confirmed that singer Taylor Swift and actor Joe Alwyn have split. Throughout their 6-years together, Alwyn has inspired countless hit love songs in Swift’s discography, leading fans to connect with their love story. Some fans have also speculated their alleged breakup is why Alwyn has been seemingly missing from the crowd at Swift’s “Eras” tour. However, due to the private nature of the couple, fans have no way of knowing. However, some have taken the internet by storm- making all sorts of assumptions. Swift and Alwyn should be left alone. Swift’s worth is not determined by who she is dating. Instead of honing in on Swift’s relationship, people should focus on the success of her ongoing tour.

Harry Styles and Emily Ratajowski: A Publicity Stunt?

Only months after his messy relationship with divorcee Olivia Wilde, singer Harry Styles seems to have swiftly moved on. Styles has been spotted kissing actress and model Emily Ratajowski, who was linked to comedian Eric Andre as recently as February. Yikes. On the rebound much? Some fans believe that this may be a publicity stunt because of the convenient timeline- but I’m not so sure- Styles is certainly not lacking in star power. Paparazzi have captured Styles and ex Wilde avoiding each other in downtown LA, alleging that the “Don’t Worry Darling” co-stars are not together anymore. That means that Styles is a free-agent…he may as well be dating Ratajkowski. Is this couple faux or for real?

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet: Wild Card

Okay. This alleged couple really threw me for a loop. When I read the headline that actor Timothee Chalamet and cosmetic mogul Kylie Jenner were dating, I was left dumbfounded. They seem to be at different stages in their lives, despite being close in age. Jenner has two kids with rapper Travis Scott, while Chalamet is still prioritizing his career. Celebrity gossip blog, Deux Moi, originally tipped fans off that Jenner and Chalamet have been together since January. However, there is very little evidence to back this. According to TMZ, Jenner’s car has been photographed outside of Chalamet’s house. Honestly, it seems really far-fetched to me, but if it’s true, I’m rooting for this duo. There’s something about this unlikely pair that feels like it could just work!
