I have been a GR football fan for a long time and rarely miss a game. What I witnessed today against Garfield was treason and probably one of the worst coaching decisions I’ve ever seen. It’s one thing to give your second string some play time for the experience but to let those kids go out there and get slaughtered and purposely lose a football game goes against everything in sports I stand for. I will be retiring in a couple of years and leaving GR and I am sad to say that today was probably my last GR football game as I cannot be a part of an organization that would do this to the kids or its fans. Good luck in the playoffs because with this coaching mindset I think you’ll need it!!
